Recently my team and I had worked on setting up some ads on the Mojo (Mediaplex) adserver. In this post (and a few more to come) I will share my experiences while using this platform and also describe in detail how to setup ads in the Mojo (Mediaplex) adserver. I will organize the information as a tutorial so that any one can setup ads in Mojo (Mediaplex) adserver using only the information available here.
Mojo Adserver is owned by Mediaplex and the platform allows showing ads that are behaviorally targeted. The ads are in the form of Adobe Flash banners which have to be uploaded and setup in Mojo. The behavioral targeting is done by Mojo which means that it will show an ad (of a particular product) from a collection of similar ads (each of a different product), depending on the browsing history of the viewer. Last but not least, for those who have some knowledge of Flash banners/ads, you upload (and setup) only one Flash (SWF) file, the rest of the collection of ads (formally known as child creatives) are generated from data in a feed, which is in form of a CSV file.
