Recently I bought the Nokia C6 mobile phone which is Wi-Fi enabled.
But to connect to my office WLAN, I had to find out the MAC ( or MEDIA ACCESS CONTROL) address for my device.
This seemed a little daunting at first as I could not find any option in the handset to read this address. There was no information in the menus or on the hardware.
So, as usual, I turned to the internet to find a way to read this address. And soon after I found this information on Forum.Nokia.com which helped me read my MAC address:
The MAC address of a WLAN device can be retrieved by the code *#MAC0WLAN# on the standby screen (that’s same as *#62209526#).
